The condominium is the dominant format around Las Catalinas and Tempate, which fits how the area developed: master-planned communities with shared pools, security and maintenance. For an owner who is not there year-round, it is the easiest structure to manage remotely.

Supply runs from studios to large family apartments, with a heavy concentration in two-bedroom units. Condo fees, often seen as a drawback, fund precisely what makes the property rentable without you being on site: security, gardens, pool, sometimes concierge.

Two documents deserve close reading before buying: the actual monthly fee and its trajectory over the past three years, and the condo rules, which may restrict short-term rental. That last point catches investor buyers out most often.
