Land for sale in Santa Cruz, Las Catalinas and Tempate

The Tempate area, in the north of Santa Cruz canton, holds our largest inventory of land. It is the catchment of Las Catalinas, the pedestrian village that reset the standard for coastal development in Guanacaste and pulled land values up across the whole sector.

Lots range from serviced residential parcels inside planned developments to larger acreage with ocean views. Buying land here means positioning yourself in an area whose infrastructure improves each year, at an entry price well below the equivalent built property.

Three checks are non-negotiable before buying land in Costa Rica: the water letter, without which no building permit will be issued; the actual slope, which can substantially increase foundation costs; and access easements, often shared between several lots. We provide all three for every parcel.
